Are you someone that has a green thumb?
We are looking for two volunteers to help our students manage a garden as a component of their healing from life controlling problems, such as a drug or alcohol addiction. We want our students to experience the wonders of God’s creation through gardening. Gardening is a lifelong skill and has many benefits, including a heightened sense of responsibility, improved social skills, and heightened self-esteem.
We are looking for volunteers who could commit to coming 2-3 times a week for one hour. If you are interested in this opportunity, or know someone who is, please contact Jen Fyock via email or call 414-322-7660.
